Acquisition Criteria
Oneida has grown through a series of strategic acquisitions over the past decade. When investors acquired the business in 2006, it was with an eye toward continuing this strategy, and using Oneida as a platform to acquire complementary plastic injection molding operations.
Oneida will consider acquisitions meeting any number of the following criteria:
- Bring new customers that leverage Oneida's customer focus on value-added appliance parts, enclosures for medical devices, electronic equipment and business machines, and aesthetic trim parts;
- Improve system-wide press utilization;
- Add expertise in new decorating/finishing technologies.
Oneida is flexible with respect to size requirements, and will acquire the stock or assets of operating companies with sales and EBITDA of at least $5 million and $1 million, respectively. Alternately, for smaller businesses, Oneida will consider acquiring customer lists and other selected assets.
