Description: We are seeking a hands on mechanical or industrial engineer to lead continuous improvement activities in our molding and assembly departments. Identify cost improvement initiatives; introduce new processes, methods and equipment. Lead lean manufacturing activities.
Member of cross functional team leading the introduction of new parts and processes to the manufacturing floor.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Knowledge of injection molding, lean manufacturing, APQP and project management preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Responsibilities: Lead all continuous improvement activities and events and assist management in the transformation and cultural change in the operations. Identify opportunities and initiate plans to improve performance & reduce waste. Provide training & support services to the operations in use of continuous improvement tools.
