Machine Maintenance Technician

Description: Multi shift repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) on all main and auxiliary equipment used in the injection molding processes including, but not limited to: molding machines, grinders, dryers, hopper loaders and vacuum units (including ratio units), all oil and water units, chillers and towers.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, two years experience in manufacturing environment, and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, problem solving and computers required.
Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered
Responsibilities: Maintaining and repairing all molding machines, grinders, conveyers, dryers, hopper loaders and vacuum units (including ratio units), all oil and water units, and chillers and towers;
Updating and coordinating all PM logbooks in accordance with ISO standards.
Source all repair items and services for equipment. Obtain quotes for pricing and availability and submit proper paperwork.
Follow a “predictive” maintenance program designed to ensure more efficient and effective operation of equipment.
Work effectively and in coordination with tool room support and all personnel to handle immediate repair needs and set-ups, as needed.
Participate in coordination of all major shutdown maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
Notes: Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical required.
