Sr. Project Engineer

Type: Full-Time
Description: We are seeking a proven professional to plan, conceptualize, quote costs, coordinate the order of, design, build and implement new injection molds to produce high quality parts for various customers, within budget and on schedule.

Lead the APQP team in the introduction of new parts and processes to the manufacturing floor.

Interface with customers on accounts from concept of product through to the point when production is turned over to manufacturing.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering and knowledge of plastic part design and project management or project engineering, or

Associates Degree in Engineering, 1-2 years of experience directly working with customer accounts, and 3-5 years of experience in the plastics industry related to plastic part design and project management or project engineering.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities: Provide technical services directly related to development of customer projects such as design, fabrication and/or repair.

Perform regular duties involved with maintaining accurate and efficient tooling capabilities.

Monitor initial start-up of customer projects.
